Association for Play Therapy 

"Play is the language of children and toys are their words." - Daniel Sweeney (Tamra's favorite prof!)

Play therapy information for professionals and non-professionals, bookstore, research links and more. Tamra is a master’s level trained play therapist.  She does not practice play therapy professionally, but incorporates play therapy theory and practices into all her studio classes. Tamra encourages anyone who may need to seek counseling for any child under age 10 to seek out a qualified, child-centered play therapist to provide counseling services, rather than using the traditional adult talk therapy. Children are not simply miniature adults who's "play is their work" as may have said, but distinctly different than adults and need to be embraced in their own world  - the world of play.

Need I say more? No, but I will. Mr. Rogers is the epitome of the child-centered, educational approach that Kindermusik and Kids & Music embraces. Using songs and rhymes that encourage the exploration and understanding of self and the world around us, Mr. Rogers makes the thoughts and questions that loom large for little people easier to cope with and understand.

Mozarts' Magical Musical Life 

A story about Mozart's life and times with music clips and interesting historical trivia. Geared toward elementary age.
